Amsycom group becomes Kardham

November 2016

The Amsycom group gets a makeover and becomes Kardham.

The purpose of this name change is to reflect the group’s vision, strategy and expertise through a holistic approach to real estate and architecture.

“Almost two years ago, the Amsycom group joined the international architecture and town planning agency, Cardete Huet Architectes, ranked in the top 20 of French agencies and whose capacity to manage high-rise buildings. a substantial scale of very high complexity is recognized by all the players in the profession. The measures to optimize our new organization were successfully implemented and made it possible to ensure the sustainability of know-how and talents. We are now strengthening our synergies around a new name, Kardham, a symbol of our history but also of the alliance of our three businesses: consulting, architecture and planning”, explains Jean-François Couëc, Chairman. from Kardham.

Expert in consulting and real estate project management, from the upstream strategic audit to the turnkey delivery of operations, Kardham totaled for the year 2015 a consolidated turnover of € 37.71 million, ie an increase of 21% compared to the previous year which stood at € 31 million.

In six years, the group has tripled its size. 2016 confirmed this dynamism and enabled Kardham to pursue its growth strategy with an increase in its activity. In order to strengthen its position as an independent leader and increase its autonomy, the group opened up its capital at the start of the year to Bpifrance and Amundi Private Equity Funds as reference minority shareholders.

“Business growth is expected to be above 10% again by the end of the year. And because our market positioning is buoyant, our objective is to double our size by 2020. To achieve this, we will rely on the complementarity of our teams, made up of a variety of specialists able to deal with all the dimensions of a real estate project and integrate new skills. The driving forces behind our growth are the development of our businesses, against the backdrop of technologies, sustainable development and well-being at work, and the necessary consolidation of our sector", concludes Jean-François Couëc.
