The city of Rabat was also proclaimed a green city for the 40th anniversary of Earth Day in 2010. Gardens and parks are an integral part of the identity of the city, which plans to increase the ratio of green spaces by inhabitants. The reconstruction of the Rabat racecourse crystallizes these notions: - A racecourse embodying prestige and its integration into a landscaped site, leisure facilities for all. - An urban and social landmark where sport, fun and culture coexist. - Structuring equipment, also making horse racing more accessible to the inhabitants of Rabat and its region
